Congratulations on taking the first step in your fitness and health journey!

I’m Jessica Stroud, and I started my journey right after graduating nursing school. I was tired of my scrubs getting tight and not being able to walk up stairs without getting winded at 27 years old. I knew that health-care professionals were some of the most unhealthy individuals, and I wanted to set a different example for my patients and coworkers. So, I started one day at a time, one meal at a time.

As I was researching healthier alternatives to foods and nutrition information for my body type, I came up empty-handed. There was a ton of information, but not good information. I learned by trial and error and quite a bit of frustration. I jumped from fad diet to fad diet until I would give up and binge eat because they “didn’t work.” I used exercise as a way to justify eating whatever I wanted because “I was working out.”

I finally realized that nutrition is 90% of the battle and working out aids the process.

Consistency greatly outweighs perfection!

As I started teaching friends and family how to fuel their individual bodies while maintaining their weight loss, a passion was fueled!

I want to show you that extreme changes are not necessary for you to be successful. I’m here so you don’t have to figure this all out the hard way.
